NC’s Hagan: Inaugural tickets up for grabs
RALEIGH — North Carolina residents may have one last shot to get tickets for the presidential inauguration.
Sen. Kay Hagan said Friday she will hand out any leftover tickets on Monday afternoon in Washington. Hagan has notified the winners of a ticket lottery, and those tickets must be claimed by Monday at 3 p.m. Any remaining tickets will be given out then.
Those who get the tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis must show North Carolina identification to verify their residency.
Fellow North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr already selected ticket recipients on a first-come basis. House lawmakers were also given tickets to distribute.
