NC High Risk Insurance Pool coming to Bladen County
While we wait for the new health care law to go into effect, the state’s high risk insurance pool is coming to Bladen County to enroll more people.
The state started Inclusive Health to provide coverage for people with pre-existing medical conditions who don’t qualify for programs like Medicare and Medicaid. It also covers north carolinians who have exhausted COBRA coverage.
The event is Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Bladen Baptist Association at 137 Mercer Road in Elizabethtown.
Anyone interested in the program is encouraged to visit www.InclusiveHealth.org, which includes a list of items to bring to enrollment events.
