NC issues burning ban

All this heat and so little rain has made for drought conditions all over the state.

Tuesday the North Carolina Forestry Division re-issued a burning ban. This means there is to be no outdoor burning.

Even if you already have a permit, it’s no longer valid.

The use of outdoor grills is still allowed — however you’re cautioned to make sure all coals are extinguished before they are discarded.
