New Charlie Grainger’s location in Leland now open

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Fans of hot dogs, brisket, and barbecue have a new place to enjoy in Leland.

The newest Charlie Grainger’s opened Monday in the Walmart shopping center along Highway 17.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Co-owner Frank Garrison says you can enjoy a meal for only about 10 bucks. His location is the first in southeastern North Carolina to offer beer and wine.

The original Charlie Grainger’s opened on 17th Street in Wilmington more than 75 years ago. Now, there are 13 locations in six states.
