NEW DETAILS: Shark bite off of Masonboro Island

MASONBORO ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — Another man appears to have been bitten by a shark off of Masonboro Island.

Miller Diggs got five stitches in his left foot but is otherwise OK. He and some friends were kite boarding and that’s when the shark bit him. They estimated the shark to be about four feet long. No one else was hurt.

Less than a month ago another man was also bitten by a shark off of Masonboro.
