New Hanover Co. DA requests death penalty in Scott murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County District Attorneys office decided it will seek the death penalty against Andrew Bernard Adams.

He’s charged with killing Latricia Ana Scott back in January.

Her body was discovered buried in a yard at a house on Cowan Street.

The D.A.’s office made the motion today in court.
