New Hanover County ABC Board announce new headquarters

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County ABC Board announced Thursday it will move its headquarters from S. 17th Street to a new location.

It has contracted Bordeaux Construction Company, Inc. to build the new facility on a plot of land near Market Street and Judges Road.

The Board said the new 32,000 square foot building will contain a distribution center, a store for mixed beverage permit holders, and the main ABC administrative offices.

Construction is expected to take about a year and began as soon as the contract is signed according to CEO Dan Sykes.
