New Hanover done with Irene clean-up

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s been nearly two months, but New Hanover County is finally done cleaning up from Hurricane Irene.

Crews picked up more than 28,000 cubic yards of vegetative debris from the unincorporated parts of the county. The county is back to normal debris management procedures.
