New Hanover man charged with sex crimes with child in Oak Island
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County man is charged with sex crimes involving a child in Oak Island, according to an arrest warrant.
The warrant shows police arrested William Allen Jackson, 56, Thursday and charged him with statutory sexual offense and indecent liberties with a child. The warrant says the crimes happened in April 2013 and involved a child younger than 13.
The NC Department of Corrections website shows Jackson has multiple convictions for assaulting law enforcement officers and drugs.
Jackson is in the Brunswick County Jail under $300,000.
