New MRI facility in Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Bladen County residents now have easier access to MRI services thanks to a newly opened MRI facility at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital.

The hospital held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour this morning to celebrate the launch of the new facility.

Previously, the hospital relied on a mobile MRI unit, which was only available twice a week. However, as patient demand grew, hospital officials recognized the need for a more permanent solution.

The facility is located just behind Bladen County Hospital.
