New park plan on the way in Ocean Isle Beach

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Planning for a new park started after a meeting on Monday. Town administrator Daisy Ivey says the plan is estimated to cost $1.1 million.

McGill associates is handling the plans. The open piece of land will include a permanent band stand, a playground, water features, a trail around the park, restroom facilities and more.

There is not set timeline yet for completion.
