New citizen votes because of Obama

A Wilmington woman who just became a U.S. citizen is celebrating the Obama victory.

Kamolmas Skinner is from Thailand. She became a U.S. citizen two weeks ago so that she could vote in this year’s election. Skinner and her husband Tim are pleased with Obama’s big win.

“I exercised my right to vote, right away. I went out and voted for Barack Obama who represents everything that believe,” said Skinner.

Skinner believes Barack Obama will unify the country, and change the world’s view of our nation.
