New Hanover County Board of Elections needs precinct officials

Voting in an election is a way to get your voice heard, but there is a way you can get even more involved.

The New Hanover County Board of Elections needs precinct officials.

On Election Day, you can help confirm the eligibility of voters and address any problems they may have. You will need to take one 4-hour training session next month, and you will have to be available all day on Election Way, which is November 4, 2008.

For your time you will get paid $145. Voters over the age of 18 are eligible. If you are interested, notify the Board of Elections.
