New Hanover students win state science fair awards

The North Carolina State Science Fair was held on the campus of Meredith College, in Raleigh, on Saturday, March 27, 2010. The following New Hanover County Schools students were recognized:

Forest Hills Elementary School

In addition, Robert R. Johnson III, from Isaac Bear Early College High School, received Alternate #1 for the International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering & Environment) Project Award (ISWEEP). His project topic was: The Effects of the Common Pollutants Ammonium Hydroxide, Detergent and Plant Fertilizer on the Bioluminescence of Pyrocystis Fusiformis.
