New information in Bradshaw murder case

Adam Bradshaw was killed in April. His body was found near Ocean Isle Beach, and as more details come out about his murder, we are learning the motive may have been quite complicated.

According to the autopsy report, Adam Bradshaw was shot in the head, and every bone in his skull was fractured. His shirt and jacket were pulled inside out over his head and around his wrists.

The medical examiner found $10,000 in cash in the front pocket of Bradshaw’s jacket. This detail came as a surprise to his wife Shannon.

“It was not normal for Adam to carry that much money on him and I just don’t know what to say to that,” said Mrs. Bradshaw.

Officials do not think robbery was the motive, but they will not say what was.

A lawsuit recently filed by Shannon Bradshaw against the two suspects, Craig Bryant and Lora Moultrie, sheds some light on a real estate deal between them and her husband that may have gone sour.

Mr. Bradshaw bought a piece of land from Mr. Bryant, and the suit alleges that Bryant and Moultrie forged a quitclaim deed to get that land back.

District Attorney Rex Gore said they are still reviewing the case and hopes to go to trial this fall.
