New list of worst NC bridges released

AAA Carolinas newest list of the state’s worst bridges adds 100 substandard bridges to the list.

North Carolina ranks high nationally in its number of substandard bridges with 31 percent; only nine states ranked worse and two others had the same percentage.

The worst bridge in the state is in Guilford County, but New Hanover County has two that fall in the top 20 as the worst in the state.
