New Myrtle Beach motorcycle rally law

Myrtle Beach motorcycle rallies may be getting a lot quieter because of a new city ordinance.

Myrtle Beach authorities say motorcyclists will need to muffle their mufflers during the fall rally that kicks off later this week.

Authorities say the rally will serve as a rehearsal for the anti-noise ordinance passed last week. It was among 15 laws the city council passed to clamp down on beach motorcycle rallies.
