New North Brunswick High School principal named

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A local educator’s career is coming full circle.

Bob Grimes began his career as a teacher at North Brunswick High School. This week he was named its new principal.

Grimes is currently principal of Laney High School in New Hanover County.

Brunswick County Superintendent Katie McGee says Grimes will be a great addition to the school system.

McGee said, “He’s a teacher/student principal that learns. I think he’s a model that continuous learning is important in the lives of all of us.”

Grimes will head the 900-student school beginning July 1.
