New Year’s Eve NC shooting leads to murder charge
HIGH POINT, N.C. — Authorities say a 58-year-old man has been arrested after he shot another man on New Year’s Eve.
Police told the News & Record of Greensboro that Talmadge Killens is charged with murder.
Authorities say Killens got into an argument at a High Point home shortly before midnight Wednesday.
Investigators say 51-year-old James McLean was shot and killed.
Killens remains at the Guilford County jail in High Point with a $200,000 bond, Jail officials say he does not have an attorney.
