NHRMC adds new visitor security guidelines
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Starting Monday, you will need to provide identification if you want to enter the women’s and pediatric units at the Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
New Hanover Regional is implementing new visitor guidelines to increase safety at the hospital.
Once you provide identification, you will receive a visitor access badge to enter the units.
According to a news release, these guidelines are part of NHRMC’s security improvements as the campus continues to grow and more people visit their friends and loved ones.
In addition to the visitor badges, more parking lot emergency call boxes and security cameras have been added and NHRMC is recruiting additional security staff.
