No charges to be filed in UNCW student’s death

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A spokeswoman with the Wilmington Police Department said there will be no charges filed in the death of a 22-year-old UNCW student last month.

Connor Kenneth Vogel died after a fall on April 16. Police said Vogel and another man both decided to fight each other before Vogel fell and hit his head.

Police said that because the fight was consensual, there will be no charges.
