No charges filed in Mayfaire crash involving teen pedestrian

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — No charges were filed in an accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the Mayfaire Town Center.

Police said the incident happened Saturday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Town Center Drive. Officers said a 15-year-old female was hit by a vehicle while walking near the car she had exited from. The teen appeared to have a leg and head injury, but the injuries were not life-threatening. She was transported by EMS to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

There were no charges filed in the incident.
