Noble to reopen Friday despite repairs

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County school closed today because of a power outage will be back open tomorrow… sort of.

The district says repairs at Noble Middle School will take longer than expected. While repairs go on, sixth and seventh graders will return to classes tomorrow.

Eighth graders will ride their regular bus to Noble, then board a shuttle to Holly Shelter Middle School for class. They will then bus back to Noble to ride their regular bus home in the afternoon.

The school will also use this procedure Monday.
