North Carolina Blueberry Festival draws in 40k to Burgaw

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The 15th annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival wrapped up this past weekend.

WWAY’s Jeff Rivenbark joined in on the fun along with the thousands of visitors that attended.

Festival Coordinator Olivia Dawson says this years festival attracted more than 40,000 visitors and had over 200 vendors participating.

She says the festival is bigger and better every year and that organizers are working towards having the festival for two full days in future years.
