Novant Health physicians, employees kneel in support for BLM movement

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Physicians and team members at Novant Health recently showed their support for the Black Lives Matters movement.

It’s called “White Coats for Black Lives.”

Participants collectively observed a few moments of silence and kneeled to advocate for justice for the community and support for fellow team members of color.

It was held at the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center and was part of a larger movement.

Doctors, nurses and staff at all Novant facilities held the event at the same time.
