NY man brought to Whiteville to face charges from 2004
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Whiteville Police went to New York and brought back a man wanted for several charges dating back to 2004.
Dane Justice Morgan, 36, of Staten Island, was brought back on a fugitive warrant issued from the Governor’s office. Police picked him up from Queens Criminal Courthouse in Key Gardens, New York.
According to Whiteville Police, Morgan is charged with Assault on Government Officials, Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Flee to Elude Arrest and Going Armed to the terror of the Public.
Morgan also has several outstanding warrants from Bladen and Robeson Counties.
He is being held under a $403,500 bond.
