Oak Island Beach Day guarantees fun in the sun this weekend

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, then Oak Island has just the thing.

Oak Island Parks and Recreation will be hosting Beach Day 2020 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Middleton Park.

You can spend the day playing classic beach games, grabbing food from the food truck rodeo or take in a seaside concert with Gary Lowdar and Smokin’ Hot Band.

All of the beach day activities have been modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All participants are encouraged to limit to groups of 10 or less, wear masks, and practice social distancing.
