BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Ocean Isle Beach is working to make repairs to its roundabout after it was damaged early Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 1:30am. Ocean Isle Beach Police say 42-year-old Daniel Ernest Small was driving an SUV and had reportedly just left a nearby bar before the crash happened.

Small was uninjured and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

He has been charged with Driving While Impaired and was released on a written promise to appear.
