Officials respond to shooting in Oak Island

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — Officials responded to a shooting in Oak Island late Tuesday evening.

According to Oak Island Mayor Cin Brochure, the Police Chief reached the scene on the corner of NE 19th and Yacht Drive just after 10 p.m.. The victim was airlifted to the hospital.
