Officials search for man last seen in Wilmington

UPDATED: Michael Shane Murray has been located by the Boone Police Department, he is safe and unharmed.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who went missing Tuesday.

Officials say Michael Shane Murray, 40, was last seen in the 9000 block of River Rd.

He is described as 5-foot-9 weighing 175 lbs. with blue eyes and brown/grey hair. He has a Libra tattoo with his birth date on his left arm.

He was last seen wearing a red jacket, khaki shorts, neon orange Nike shoes, with a green camping book bag.
