Ogden house fire suspicious

Fire destroyed an Ogden home this morning. The blaze broke out around 3:00 a.m. at a house on Foxfield Court. The heat from the flames melted the siding on neighboring homes.

Fire fighters say the house that burned was vacant, and hasn’t had electricity for months. Investigators are calling the fire “suspicious.”

Deputy Fire Marshall Tom Sesebee of the NHC Fire Department said, “Indicates to us that something is not right with the conditions that would have generated this fire.”

Officials would not speculate as to what started the fire. The fire department has brought in the S.B.I. to help investigate.
