ONLY ON 3: Photo of ‘gator’ missing at White Lake

WHITE LAKE, NC (WWAY) — Although we had a most impressive sketch of a fake alligator missing in White Lake yesterday, a viewer sent us an actual picture of Wally so we can put a face to his name.

Wally has been missing from his swamp at Goldston’s Putt-Putt in Bladen County since Saturday morning. Owner John Wamble thinks a couple of pranksters took him out to the lake and sank him.

Wally’s been an icon at Goldston’s for 19 years, and his fans miss him dearly. There’s a $100 reward will to anyone who can bring him back to the shore.
