Opa! Greek food, culture highlight Wilmington Greek Festival this weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Greek community of Wilmington shares its culture, faith and heritage this weekend at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

The 2017 Wilmington Green Festival features authentic Greek cuisine, delicious Greek food, and traditional music and dancing.

There will be shows, a marketplace and cooking demonstrations over the three day event.

It runs Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Park in the UNCW lot behind Taco Bell and take free shuttles to the church.

Admission is a $3 donation and children 12 and under are free.  Your admission is good for the whole weekend.
