Oscars watch party brings Hollywood to Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Sunday night it was all glitz and glam on the red carpet for the 91st Academy Awards, but it was also shining in downtown Wilmington.

Many came out to Tails Piano Bar dressed up in their finest gowns and attire for an Oscars watch party.

The event was a fundraiser for the Opera House Theatre Company.

Locals walked the red carpet, participated in raffles and watched the big show.
