OSHA concludes investigation of Leland Police Department

The word tonight from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration is that there are no serious safety problems at the Leland Police Department.

OSHA wrapped up a recent investigation by writing up the department for one violation.

It cites the department for not adequately training its employees to handle hazardous material, but the citation lists the infraction as “non-serious”.

The department will not be fined and has until June 3rd to comply with the OSHA regulations.
