Overnight shooting leaves one hospitalized, another injured

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Wilmington police responded to the 1400 block of Corbett St. in reference to a shooting early Saturday morning.

Around 12:50 a.m. officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds and a 29-year-old woman suffering from non-life threatening wounds. The man was transported to the hospital and was in surgery overnight, but the woman refused transport.
