Pair busted for breaking into Leland business three times
LELAND, NC – Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have arrested two subjects that were implicated in several investigations involving a local business in the Leland area. Landmark Properties located at 2101 Enterprise Boulevard was broken into on three separate occasions, June 24th, June 29th and July 6th.
On July 6th at approximately 2:00 am, deputies responded to an alarm at the business and caught Jonathan Steven Terry and David Uegene Lee on the roof of the building making entry into the business. Items stolen from the business were found in the possession of the two subjects. Sergeant Kevin Long, Deputies Colin Smoots and Chris Sasser surrounded the building and took the suspects into custody without incident.
Charges resulted from over $215,000 worth of damages and over $355,000 of property stolen from Landmark Properties. Terry and Lee are each charged with three counts Felony Larceny and three counts Injury to Real Property. Both subjects remain at the Brunswick County Detention Center each with a $35,000 secured bond.
