Pajama Party benefits good cause

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The third annual pajama party hosted by the Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness, to remind people that not everyone has pajamas or a home to enjoy every night.

The event Friday night featured local celebrities like Commissioner Jason Thompson in his pajamas.

Our own report/anchor Marissa Jasek was there for WWAY.

Along with a host of folks strutting their sleepwear for a good cause.

Dan Ferrell is a tells us tonight’s event is for a good cause.

“The money from tonight’s fund raiser will go to a new homeless medical care that will take people who are homeless and have medical emergencies and are too sick to be in the woods or in a shelter but not sick enough to be in a hospital.”

If you missed this year’s event but still want to help out just go to the United Way web site
