Parmele road to close starting Monday

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — On the roads this week, the North Carolina Department of Transportation will close Parmele Road 1.0 mile east of NC 133 in both directions.

It starts Monday at 7:00 a.m. continuously, through next Friday August 12, at 5:00pm for pipe replacement.

The NCDOT reminds drivers to stay alert and use alternate routes when possible.
