Crews repair gas leak, South Kerr Avenue reopens
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — South Kerr Avenue in Wilmington is back open following a natural gas leak Friday.
Wilmington Fire Department says it happened at 1046 South Kerr Avenue around 11:30 a.m.
The gas leak was shut down around 1:30 p.m. by Piedmont Natural Gas, according to WFD.

Spokesman Tom Robinson says a 2-inch service line was hit by contractors working in the area.
