Party on the water! Pedal pub sets sail in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A pedal pub business that’s not allowed on land has now hit the water around Pleasure Island.

Sea Legs Pedal Pub opened earlier this month.

Instead of having the pedal pub riding around Carolina Beach’s streets, the bright blue and yellow boat will allow people to drink aboard and enjoy time on the water, where the town can’t regulate the business.

Mayor Joe Benson said in a Facebook post that the inaugural voyage was on August 11 and says there’s no doubt it is going to do great in the town.

According to their website, the 90-minute cruise costs $30 per person or $38 on Thursdays night fireworks cruise. The pedal pub is located at Joyner Marina on the North End of Carolina Beach.
