Party advertised on Facebook gets hosts arrested

Dozens of people were cited for underage drinking in Gaston County over the weekend.

Officers said they found them all at a party thrown by two adults who publicly advertised the event on Facebook.

Officers said they got a tip, checked out the website for themselves and went to the home. Investigators said they saw dozens of people, many drinking underage.

Officers charged 31 people and arrested two; the homeowner, Steven Haney and his girlfriend Melissa Wilson.
