Peace Day Event

A celebration of International Day of Peace, sponsored by Grandmothers For Peace, will be held in Hugh MacRae Park (Shelter #4) on Tuesday, September 21, at 6:30 pm. Peace Day was established by a United Nations resolution in 1981. Each year on September 21 individuals and organizations from 175 nations gather to promote peace in their communities and the world.

This celebration is a family event and we invite everyone to bring a chair or blanket and join us for an hour of peaceful readings and music.
