Pender County becomes part of reality show

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Pender County’s Tourism Director is joining a reality show that raises awareness of missing children.  Tammy Proctor is flying to Buffalo this Friday to join “Fireball Run.”

The series follows 40 teams as they travel to eight different cities on a trivia pursuit road rally.

The show stopped in Pender County last year.

The series needed someone to fill-in this year as a co-driver, so they offered the opportunity to Pender County.

Proctor says she will promote tourism along the way to countless officials, CVBs, and potential tourists.

Proctor is joining Carrie Deleon’s ‘Nun-Thing Wrong’ #64 team.  You can also go online and vote for her team.
