Two women arrested on drug charges during traffic stop

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office say two women face multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Office says they stopped a vehicle driven by Myia Jamulla Imes, 25, on Highway 53 near Point Caswell Road. During the stop, deputies discovered powder cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.

Deputies arrested Imes and Nicole Dominique Keith, 31.

They are both charged with three counts each of trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Imes is also charged with maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances.

They are both currently being held without bond. They are scheduled for a first appearance today in court.
