Pender school board OKs optional on-site COVID-19 testing for students, staff

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Board of Education voted unanimously on Thursday to begin optional on-site COVID-19 testing within schools.

The tests will be free of charge for students with prior parental consent.

PCS says all testing information is confidential and results are expected to be available within 24 hours.

The start date is not been announced yet.
