Pender Co. man arrested for growing weed outside his camper

PENDER COUNTY, NC (NEWS RELEASE) – The Pender County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Division arrested David Joe Gadberry on Monday October 5, 2010 in Bladen County.

Gadberry had fled Pender County after Pender County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives located several marijuana plants next to his camper and in the woods where he was residing. Gadberry last known address was a camper located on the property of 545 Underwood Drive, Currie, NC.

The Pender County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Gadberry with; Felony Possession of Marijuana, Manufacture Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle/Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He received a $50,000 dollar secured bond.
