Pender Memorial Hospital employees applauded

Employees of Pender Memorial Hospital are being recognized for their hard work and years of dedicated service.

Ms. Esther Walker just received a plaque commemorating 40 years with Pender Memorial. She began working as a nurse’s assistant in 1969.

As part of last week’s Nurses Week, employees voted on the nurse and nursing assistant who best exemplify professionalism, communication, teamwork and service.

Nurse Diane Healy and CNA Jennifer Cottle were recognized by their peers.
