Pender teen arrested for indecent liberties with child

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Pender County deputies have arrested a 16-year-old Rocky Point boy for indecent liberties with a minor. Investigators says the charge requires that the defendant be at least five years older than the victim.

Jeffrey Eugene Humphreys II was arrested at his 112 Remington Road home after an investigation into allegations involving a pre-teen child who does not live in the home. Law enforcement learned of the incident last weekend.

Humphreys is being held in the Pender County Jail under $75,000 bond.
