Personnel files may be released on Williston Middle School teacher

More information may be headed our way in the case involving a former Williston Middle School teacher, arrested after police found her in the back seat of a car with a 15-year-old boy.

New Hanover County school board officials are considering releasing the personnel file of Jessica Wishnask. The file contains information as to why she was suspended twice while at Williston.

Typically, this information is confidential, but if the release of the file will help protect the school board and it’s policies the superintendent may consider making it public.
